At school, his smart and sweet nature began to show itself. But so did his awkwardness. So he didn't have many friends. But he had a few. Which really changed his life. They saw past his akwardness. They went to trivia games with him. And they were his cheering squad when he came out as gay.
As he entered high school, Charles' ambition began to show. Especially as his Biology teacher saw his potential. And opened his eyes to a whole other world. Which made him determined to become a veternarian. Working with a local horse expert made him fall in love with horses.
He attended a university at Yorkshire. But he honestly hated it. It was far too elitist. And for sure not grounded in the land and with animals. So he then applied to the university at Hickstead to finish. It seemed much more his speed.
So he bought a baby horse. And went on his way.
